Wedding card

Here is a card I made for my husband's friend. I used my Just Rite stamp for the letters and the champagne glass stamp came in a kit I picked up at Cosco a few years ago. I used Baja Breeze ink from SU and I put a little glitter on the glasses. I've been a little more productive lately so hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things soon.

Happy Birthday Rick

Hi everyone! It feels like forever since I've posted. I just haven't felt like doing anything. I think this weather has me bummed out. I hate winter and it's coming sooner than I'd like. I hope to get a few cards done this weekend. Lots of ideas, just need to get them to paper. Anyway, I made this card for my husband. His birhtday was last Sunday. (That's when I gave him the card. Just took awhile to post.) I used Beerafella. The beer case charm is from Stamping Bella. The paper is from Michael's. I made the sentiment from my new Just Rite stamp I picked up at the Creative Festival. Monica and I headed down last Friday after work. We saw so many nice things. Oh to be rich! The stuff I could have bought. Dream, dream.

Bella Flower

One of my bosses asked me to make a birthday card for his wife. I used Wildflower Trio from Stamping Bella. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. I used my MS and SU punches. The cardstock is CTMH and I think the patterned is SU. There is also a little glitter in the centre of the 2 flowers.

I offered to make this card for my friend Monica. Her son is turning 3 today. Her inlaws are here from out of town so she has no time. She supplied the stamps. They are Changito. The paper is from My Minds Eye. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS.

Flowers For You

Here is a Tilda I bought at Pointers awhile ago. I'm not sure what she's called. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The cardstock and ribbon is from SU. The patterned paper is My Mind's Eye. My friend Monica gave me a pile of paper yesterday. This was one of the sheets. It was just like Christmas in the office yesterday. First my fabulous new paper and then the mailman delivered the parcel Monica and I have been waiting 2 months for. Our High Hopes order! Our friend Karen also finally rec'd hers. She's been waiting 3 months. Happy stamping girls!

Here is my entry for the Bellarific challenge this week. I chose Dandelion Bunches. I didn't have much time. There is a little glitter on them. I used this card as a wedding card. I used a MS punch for scalloped bottom .

For Baby Markar

A friend at work asked if I would make a card for her cousin that just had a baby boy. I made 2 cards so she could pick which one she liked best. She took both. The images and ribbon on both cards are from CTMH. The "love" tag is from Stamping Bella, and the "it's a boy" is from the dollar store. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS and I used a couple of punches to cut out the images.

I went to a baby shower yesterday. This is the card I gave her. I used a CTMH stamp set. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The bottle is from Stamping Bella. The sheer ribbon is from CTMH and the polka dot ribbon is from the dollar store.

Bellaric Friday

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge. I liked this card until I put liquid applique on the muffin top for icing. Now I think she looks like she is holding a bowl of sparkly popcorn. Maybe I shouldn't have usesd the heat on it. Oh well, better luck next time. As usual I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS, I used my MS loop punch and my SU window punch. She is called Matilda Muffinbread.

This is a Tilda I bought in the summer. She is Tilda w/ Hearts. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper, cardstock, ribbon and flower are from SU. The brad is from CTMH. I glittered up her wings with my Stamping Bella glitter.

Thank You!

My neighbour Melissa makes the best pecan tarts. She sends over a plate every couple of weeks. I shouldn't be eating them, but I just can't resist. Good thing I have my first Yoga class tonight. (wish me luck) Hopefully I can still move tomorrow. Anyway, Melissa made some tarts for me to take to my monthly scrap club and they were a huge hit. I made this card for her. I didn't have a tart stamp, but I thought that Harriet Lulu would work. (I think she has muffins on her tray though) I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. I used CTMH glitter on her dress and flowers in her hair and liquid glass on the "tarts". The paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet pack. The ribbon is from CTMH. I used my spellbinders for the oval and tag.

I made this card for my parent's anniversary. It is a Sarah Kay image called A Kiss For Chloe. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet paper pack. The flower brads are from the dollar store. I used my new punch from SU to clip the corners. I found Paula's grass technique on SCS and tried my darnest to follow the steps. I think I've got alot of practicing to do.

Off to University

Well my youngest sister is starting university this week. I made this card for her. I borrowed this Tilda from my friend Christine. I bought the book stamp at Michael's. It was in a clearance bin and I think it only cost me $1.50. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is CTMH and the buttons are from the dollar store.

Team Effort

I went to Scrapbook for the Cure awhile ago, and my friend Christine brought this little Tilda with Cowberry muffin. She had her stamped and sewn and asked me if i would like her. Of course I would! All I had to do was colour and find some matching paper. She has a little glitter on her wings and muffin top.

Fore You

I made this card for my brother-in-laws birthday. Simple, simple. I cut out the letters on my Cricut and ran the golf ball through the swiss dots folder for the Cuttlebug. Cut out a triangle shape for the flag and Voila!

This is a spin-off from the sketch for last weeks Bellarific challenge. I couldn't get the card finished on time. I modified the sketch a little. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. She has CTMH glitter on her wings. I also used a clear glaze pen on her glasses and swim tube. I gave this to my Great-Aunt on the weekend. She is celebrating her 90th birthday.

This is an image from Stamping Bella called Monstah Bash. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is from Costco. The sentiment is also from Bella. I think I will give this to my nephew who is turning 5. It is very appropriate for him.(HA!HA!HA!)

Here is Cakeabella. I coloured in Paula's class. She had some really great tips for us and we had a blast. She provided us with four card kits. This is one. I didn't use the paper she gave us. I had this one that I thought matched the image so well. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. There is glitter on the cake. The paper also has glitter on it. It is from a pack called Nana's Kitchen.

Tilda with Crowfoot

Here is another cutie from my Magnolia collection. She's coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is from a 6 x6 Basic Grey pad. It is the Bittersweet paper pack. I used my MS punch and some Prima flowers. I glittered her wings with Prisma glitter from CTMH and I put Bella glitter on her flowers.

Tiny Wishes

This precious little one is from Penny Black. She came in a transparent set called Tiny Wishes. I can't find a name for her though. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is Wisteria from Basic Grey. I used my new MS loop punch to make the "ribbon" and two flower punches for the flower. I cut her out with my Spellbinders. She has a little glitter on her rose.

Potrait of Me

Well it's another hot one here today! Not that I'm complaining because goodness knows in a month from now we'll be wearing our winter jackets. I have to say though, that this is what I looked like all weekend long. I made this card today the image is called Air Head. It is from House Mouse as is the sentiment. He is coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is Imaginisce.

I ran the strip of cardstock through the Cuttlebug. (Thanks for the idea Christine) I believe my cardstock is CTMH and the daisy paper is from a pack I got at Costco.

I made this card for a friend. The image is from Stamping Bella. It's called Sketchy Wildflowers and comes with a mini. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is from CTMH. I ran it through the Cuttlebug Swirl folder. Then I sanded the paper. The ribbon is from CTMH as well. I added a little glitter to the flowers too. I used scalloped scissors to cut around the image and my SU scallop oval punch for the sentiment.

I made this card for my nephew. He turned 1 on July 24th. I used Tyler the Jock from Stamping Bella. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. Used my Spellbinders and inked around the image and on the sentiment. The paper is from an old pack I had lying around from CM, I think. I sooo wanted to glitter up the #1 on the shirt, but then decided I better not. I'm not sure how many little boys would appreciate glitter on their card.

Whatcha doing?

I coloured this image awhile ago and really struggled with the way she looked. I changed the colour of the grass. It seems ok now. She is from High Hopes and is called Jolee's Little Friend. Sad news in the world of High Hopes. As of July 31, we will no longer be able to buy directly from them. We have to do it through a retailer. I guess it's time to stock up.
