Well it is a beautiful sunny day here. Has anyone noticed the days are staying a little bit lighter longer? I noticed one day last week on my way home from work. a town I usually drive through in the dark was still visible! That's a good sign. Summer's coming! Anyway I made this card for my cousin Cindy. Hi everyone! I think we can say summer is actually over now. I put away the capris and pulled out the long pants and sweaters. I made this card for my father in law. When I saw this image at Karen's doodles I knew I had to have him. He looks exactly like my father in law who also rides a motorcycle. I wrote on the flag with a marker as it comes blank. I coloured with my Prismas, but I used a black glaze pen on the bike and a clear one on his glasses and handlebars.

Another gorgeous day here in Ontario. This is Izzie from Stamping Bella. I paper pieced her hat, outfit and balloons. Doesn't she look like a sweet little American girl? I'm giving this card to Monica. Her husband is from Long Island.

Below are the cookies I made for our Canada Day BBQ. I got the recipe off of Christine's blog. I baked them and then used a stamp I hadn't used before. I dipped it in red food colouring. I think they turned out pretty good, as I don't usually spend much time in the kitchen. When I do there tends to be more swearing going on than anything else. I hope you all have a wonderful day whatever you may be doing.

Well it turned out to be a lovely day here. When I woke up this morning it was a little chilly. I made this card for the Bellarific challenge this week. We had to make a square card. I absolutely love how this turned out. My stamp is called Angelina (by Mo Manning) I coloured her up with our good old red and white and used tons of glitter on the balloons. Enjoy the festivities. Can't wait for the fireworks tonight.

My goodness! How many of you saw snow yesterday? It was still here when I woke up this morning. Yuk! Funny thing is my husband is now outside cutting the grass. Only in Canada eh! I made this card for my Mom. It is a Great Impressions stamp. I just love it. I coloured with Prismas, used my glaze pen on the jars, and a little glitter. I ran the blue cardstock through the cuttlebug and layered two pieces of ribbon. Mom loved it too.

When I saw her I knew she would be a great candidate for fun flock. I put some glitter on the tree and some stickles on her holly berries. The paper is CTMH.

WOW! Do not try this! I can speak from experience that this is not fun at all. When I was a kid I stuck my tongue to a gate in the middle of winter. I know, really stupid kid. I think someone dared me to do it. Anyway it didn't turn out all that well. This is a stamp from High Hopes. I coloured with Prismas and OMS. I used a clear galze pen on Mudzie's tongue. I stamped the snowflakes on with a little stamp I picked up at the dollar store.

Here is a card I made for my husband's friend. I used my Just Rite stamp for the letters and the champagne glass stamp came in a kit I picked up at Cosco a few years ago. I used Baja Breeze ink from SU and I put a little glitter on the glasses. I've been a little more productive lately so hopefully I'll be back in the swing of things soon.

Hi everyone! It feels like forever since I've posted. I just haven't felt like doing anything. I think this weather has me bummed out. I hate winter and it's coming sooner than I'd like. I hope to get a few cards done this weekend. Lots of ideas, just need to get them to paper. Anyway, I made this card for my husband. His birhtday was last Sunday. (That's when I gave him the card. My neighbour Melissa makes the best pecan tarts. She sends over a plate every couple of weeks. I shouldn't be eating them, but I just can't resist. Good thing I have my first Yoga class tonight. (wish me luck) Hopefully I can still move tomorrow. Anyway, Melissa made some tarts for me to take to my monthly scrap club and they were a huge hit. I made this card for her. I didn't have a tart stamp, but I thought that Harriet Lulu would work. (I think she has muffins on her tray though) I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. I used CTMH glitter on her dress and flowers in her hair and liquid glass on the "tarts". The paper is from the Basic Grey Bittersweet pack. The ribbon is from CTMH. I went to Scrapbook for the Cure awhile ago, and my friend Christine brought this little Tilda with Cowberry muffin. She had her stamped and sewn and asked me if i would like her. Of course I would! All I had to do was colour and find some matching paper. She has a little glitter on her wings and muffin top.

I made this card for my brother-in-laws birthday. Simple, simple. I cut out the letters on my Cricut and ran the golf ball through the swiss dots folder for the Cuttlebug. Cut out a triangle shape for the flag and Voila!

I used my MS punch and some Prima flowers. I glittered her wings with Prisma glitter from CTMH and I put Bella glitter on her flowers.

I made this card for a friend. The image is from Stamping Bella. It's called Sketchy Wildflowers and comes with a mini. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is from CTMH. I ran it through the Cuttlebug Swirl folder. Then I sanded the paper. The ribbon is from CTMH as well. I added a little glitter to the flowers too. I used scalloped scissors to cut around the image and my SU scallop oval punch for the sentiment.

I cut the circle that she is sitting on with my Creative Memories cutting system. The flower is punched from 3 different size flowers.

Here is my card for this Friday's challenge. It is called Dandelion Bunches and it comes with a mini. I used ink from CTMH in Petal to stamp my image and sentiment. The paper is from Bella, CTMH and Costco. The glitter is also from Stamping Bella. I used my word window punch from Stamping Up for the sentiment.

This week is Christmas in July.The stamps, paper and ribbon are all from Close To My Heart. The glitter is Stamping Bella. I used my fabulous new punch from Stamping Up to make the slots for the ribbon. It is wonderful.

I coloured this image awhile ago and really struggled with the way she looked. I changed the colour of the grass. It seems ok now. She is from High Hopes and is called Jolee's Little Friend. Sad news in the world of High Hopes. As of July 31, we will no longer be able to buy directly from them. We have to do it through a retailer. I guess it's time to stock up. She is coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The baubles and glitter are from Stamping Bella. The paper is from CM, CTMH, and Costco.

I have to thank my good friend Christine for how this card looks. From the stamp to the finishing touches. This is a Tilda from her new summer collection that she was kind enough to let me borrow. I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. I used a white pen from Stamping Bella. The flower brad is from Stamping Up. They are beautiful. I'll have to invest in some more.

I'm on holiday this week, so I'm hoping to get some sun today and possibly a few cards done.

I made this card at my monthly club meeting. A group of about 16 girls get together once a month for inspiration and lots of laughs! This was a make & take project. It is a CTMH stamp set. All we did was ink in 2 colours and added lots of glitter. Simple and so pretty.

I'm sorry I was so late posting today. For the life of me, I could not get a good pic of this card. I think I must have took nine pics before I liked one. Anyway, this image is a Sarah Kay that I bought at Pointer's. It's called Rose's Garden. She is coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS.(surprise, surprise) The paper I believe is from Stamping Bella as is the glitter. I finally took a crack at using the Spellbinders and I love how it works. I was quite nervous but it wasn't so bad once I read the directions.

I made this card for my husband. Today is our 8th anniversary. I borrowed this stamp from my friend Monica. It's from Stamping Bella and is called Kissieface. It looks like another terrible day here, so far it's only 14 degrees. Time to pull out the winter jackets.

Well the weather still isn't very nice here. Hopefully our friends south of the border have better luck for the festivities today. These are two seperate stamps from High Hopes. Meet Ally Rose and Bobby Lee. I used Tuxedo Black memento ink, coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper is from a pack I bought at Costco. The "ribbon" punch is a Martha Stewart. It's hard to tell from the picture that the fireworks have glitter. (Thanks to Carolyn for the great ideas.)I made this last night at our monthly club meeting. Well everyone it has been a long week. I'm off today for my Canada day. I had to work Wednesday. If you ask me, having a long weekend is much better. This image is from High Hopes. She is called Chrissy's Snuggle Bear. I think she has the right idea in jammies. I may just stay this way today and make cards. Hubby's at work. Imagine what I could get done! So again I stamped with Tuxedo black memento ink and coloured with Prismas.

This is my card for the challenge this week. It is the first time I've sent anything in. When I saw Atty 'tude loves her 'tinis at Bella last week I had to have her! This stamp is so much fun. I coloured her with Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper and glitter dots are also from Bella. I glittered her earrings and flowers and used liquid glass on her sunglasses and 'tinis. I wonder if my friend Monica is enjoying her apple martinis while on vacation this week. (watch out for the floor) Enjoy!

I hope the weather stays nice long enough to get the fireworks tonight. The sun is shining now, but who knows in 5 minutes? This is a High Hopes stamp. It is called Beavers Romance and also comes with a nice saying. The "luvs" is part of the stamp and you can fill in whatever you want. I thought what better image for Canada Day than the Beaver! The sentiment I just did on my computer. I coloured with my Prismas and blended with OMS. The paper and brads are from CTMH. I wish everyone a fantastic day whatever you may be doing!

I made this card awhile ago, before I was introduced to the wonderful world of Prismas. It is a Great Impressions stamp. I also stamped the background cardstock with a GI stamp and versa mark ink. The ribbon is from Wal Mart. I just coloured it with Laurentian pencil crayons. The card is almost identical to the sample card they give you for this stamp.

I made this card for a party I'm going to on Sunday. The image is from my Stamping Bella collection. It is called Lady Owlie. I picked up the paper at Pointer's Scrapbooking in Markham. What do you think? Couldn't match any better than this. My ribbon is from CTMH.

This image is from High Hopes Stamps. I just love their stamps. The images are beautiful and so many to choose from. A girl could get into a lot of trouble. (Well actually only if her husband finds out. We'll keep that to ourselves.) I stamped with Tuxedo Black memento ink. Then I coloured with Prismas and blended with OMS. I added liquid glass to the milk in the bucket. The paper is from Creative memories. I finished off with Prima flowers.

My good friend Monica bought me this stamp...I just love Tilda. She may just be my new BFF!

I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black memento ink and coloured with Prismas then blended with odourless mineral spirits (OMS). I ran the blue paper through the Cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder. The flower is from my friend Christine, just for Tilda.
